"In the midst of a fast-paced leadership meeting, this wellbeing session offered something rare and valuable. Helen created a calm, grounded space and gently guided us through simple exercises that helped reset our energy and focus for the day. She introduced the 'circle of life' in a way that felt practical and easy to connect with, even for those who might usually feel a bit unsure about mindfulness (especially in a work setting). It gave us a chance to reflect on where our joy really sits, and I'm sure it's something many of us will come back to. A well-delivered session by someone who brings warmth, experience and a thoughtful approach to making wellbeing feel relevant and useful in a corporate environment." Sinead Murray, Global Director of Marketing & Communications, DNV
Last week I was invited to do my first corporate wellbeing event. With over 10 years experience in both kundalini yoga, meditation & coaching I delivered something that was simple but also can make those shifts in managing our stress and wellbeing. I spent many years in fast paced demanding work environments ( 12 of those being in senior management in the mental health services ) so I fully understand how day to day work & life demands can have a massive effect on our overall wellbeing.
It inspired me to put back out my destress course starting Thursday May 1st 7.30 - 9pm.
This is 5 weeks of learning real tangible tools to manage stress, regulate the nervous system & feel more grounded & calm. I'm bringing together a mixture of gentle kundalini yoga, meditation, breathwork & yoga nida. We are in an ever growing fast paced world & these yogic science techniques really do help support the nervous system. Even 3 mins a day can make a difference.
Hosted on zoom. I will record each session so if you miss a class you will have the recording & have lifetime access.
If money is an issue, I am also accepting donations for this 5 week course. I don't want money to be a reason not being able to do it.
Anyone who signs up to my Elevate & Align (see below) automatically gets Destress, Reset & Recharge as a bonus.
Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing style of yoga that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching.
Combining deep breathing, long holds of supported and modified yoga poses to achieve a relaxed state.
Expect to use lots of props for a single pose that allows the body to be supported to enable deep relaxation in the muscles.
Restorative yoga was founded by B.S.K. Iyengar and was traditionally used in yoga practice when tired, sick, or injured.
It is now a popular style of yoga that supports the body to rest and relax, especially during times when stressed, busy or the body needs relief from over activity.
At the end of a session you will be left feeling calm, relaxed, refreshed with an open body.

Yoga nidra means “yogic sleep”. It is a way to get your mind, body and emotional self to be at it’s most relaxed state. Yoga nidra is the ultimate relaxation technique for releasing stress and tension held in the body.
The guided yoga nidra experience takes you down into a deep brain wave state that moves you through the different brain wave patterns and layers of our being. It allows the mind and body to rest and restore.
Yoga nidra is similar to a guided meditation, during a session we will set intentions and use relaxation techniques, breath and imagery to create a complete practice. You will lay down with props, blankets and pillows to

Kundalini Yoga is an ancient technology and science. It is often referred to as the "Yoga of Awareness". It works by using asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing), mantra (chants), mudra (hand gestures) meditation.
These are combined together and taught in kriya (sequence of postures) that have a specific goal working on the physical, mental and emotional levels. They are designed to bring about balance and transformation by working on a particular system of the body. When doing a kriya we could be working on the nervous, lymphatic, endocrine or immune system.
Kundalini Yoga can make you feel relaxed, build a healthy body, feel peaceful, vibrant and alive. It can help break through emotional blocks, develop a balanced mind and help you to realise your true creative potential. Kundalini Yoga has many benefits including:
Increased physical health and strength
Enhanced creativity and intuition
Improved flexibility
Emotional balance
Positive outlook on life
Improved sleep patterns
